Hello!  

I am Makaela Ballard, and I am a high school senior! I have challenged myself to excel academically while pursuing leadership and creative opportunities that reflect my passions and future goals. Some of my proudest accomplishments include creating my own podcast, serving as the Principal Dancer on my dance team, and being elected President of the Black Student Union. I was also honored to be nominated for the prestigious Posse Foundation Scholarship, which recognized my leadership potential and commitment to academic excellence. In addition, I have taken rigorous coursework and maintained a 4.5 GPA, demonstrating my dedication, discipline, and strong work ethic.

As I prepare for college, I plan to major in business and minor in film. My ultimate career goal is to build a successful career in the film industry, where I can combine my creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurial skills. I am excited to continue developing my talents and gaining the knowledge and experience needed to make a meaningful impact in the entertainment world.

I am also a proud member of Dream Girls, where I am learning what it means to be a graceful, confident, and well-rounded young lady. Through classes in character building, life skills, and etiquette, I am growing into the best version of myself and preparing for a successful future.

On Sunday, November 22, 2026, I will have the honor of participating in the Dream Girls Debutante Gala, “Vessels of Honor.” I look forward to sharing this special moment with you, and I will be sending your formal invitation in a few months. As part of our preparations, we are creating a souvenir book that allows family and friends to share encouraging words of support. My personal goal is to raise $1,000, and I would be truly grateful if you would consider partnering with me.
