Hi, I'm Unity!!

I come from gold chains, bamboo hoops, clown dancing and pastrami burgers. It’s an understatement to say that I love my city! I try to live up to my name, and a goal of mine is to unify my city.  Other than being in Gardena, my hobbies carry me around constantly. I grew up without the fear of drowning, and that led to me joining a swim team, where in one year, I ended with tons of ribbons and a “Rookie of the Year” medal. I left swim and eventually got into performing arts and dance. Lyrical and modern jazz was my specialty, and I learned to manage my emotions through dance. I still wish to pursue acting and performing as it was also a big coping outlet for me; acting like someone else can take your mind of personal problems for a while. I landed good roles in good plays. My favorite role was portraying Mufasa from the Lion King. Eventually I moved on to a different hobby. Football was my thing! I got on the field, and I can only worry about the ball and my body. I started off as a WR/DB and the more I practiced, the more I became comfortable, and I ended my season as an RB/CB/RUSHER!

I’m a proud member of D.R.E.A.M Girls, where I am learning to become a versatile young lady in Christ. Through D.R.E.A.M Girls I am learning etiquette, important life skills, and am strengthening my connection with Jesus. I am determined to apply these new skills in a way that honors God. On Sunday, November 23, 2025, I am participating in the Gala Debutante "Vessels of Honor". Keep an eye out for ticket information soon.

In preparation for the Gala, we will have a souvenir book which will give you the opportunity to offer encouraging words to me. My goal is $1000.00. Will you help me reach my goal?
