Today, we are appealing to you regarding Jada, a proud alumna of our program. Jada is a 22-year-old, beautiful young lady who has a rare, life-threatening,auto-immune disease that has caused her to need a liver transplant! For over 7 years, she has battled this disease and at long last, a liver was located and implanted! However, since that time, her kidneys have malfunctioned, she had to have 2 brain surgeries, pneumonia, and other major medical complications have flared up! This has caused her parents, Nico and Ebony Johnson, to be by her side 24/7!!  

This journey is a testament to the power of our community, and this is where you can step in! Although Nico continues to work, the expenses involved with managing their daughters’ medical care and family surpass their normal budgetary allowances. And Ebony, understandably so, hasn’t been able to operate  her business since Jada was admitted. Jada is a fighter! Her parents along with 4 siblings are fighting with her!  But the mortgage still needs to be paid! The bills continue to mount up!
